Updates . . .

I'm doing a little bit of formatting change to Writing Word by Word, including making the home page more of a blog roll! *cheers for change* For the sake of simplicity and easy navigation I'll be posting updates on writing projects, any publishing news (PLEASE LORD), as well as my usual miscellaneous musings on writing.

So, hope that doesn't confuse anyone . . .

Onward then with "news."

December, while being a stunning month of holiday festivities, celebrations with family and friends, and a month to remember the birth of our Glorious King into His Upside-down Kingdom, is also Tax Month.

*dies*

As much as I hate to do this, I am going to have to put Letters To The Found (the NaNoWriMo Book) on the shelf for a few weeks while I try and pretend I'm a numbers person.

But before you despair—I AM STILL WRITING!

EXCITING STUFF:

1) Waiting for Unicorns, has been accepted into an agent auction (kinda excited about this) and beginning tomorrow, ALL readers will get a chance to comment, and 13 different Literary Agents, three authors, and one prestigious editor, will get a chance to "bid" on Unicorns.

YOU are also welcome to read and comment on my entry, (Post #32), which will be posted here Saturday, Dec 4 through Dec 7, at which point bidding begins and closes 24 hours later.

Winners will be posted December 9. PLEASE COMMENT on my work! This is a pretty big deal for me and feedback helps!

2) I will be doing some editing and revising on Letters To the Found through the month of December, and on Jan 1, I will re-post everything in a more readable format with chapter layouts. I will be taking down the NaNoWriMo Blog and reposting everything under "Work"—>"Letters to The Found." And as promised, I will continue to post my work as I write.

3) In the not so distant future I will be pulling as many strings as I have access to, and featuring a few "guest bloggers"—the published and the unpublished. Starting with Aaron W. Hautala, illustrious photographer of The Opposite of Cold, published by the University of Minnesota Press. Plus, there will be be GIVEAWAYS. (Signed copies of the book!) Check back on that as I sort out details . . .

Thanks again for the amazing support, my friends. I feel SO LOVED!
